Has anyone read this book My Sister, Tommie?  It came out this year.  I bought a copy of it a few weeks ago.  It's not a bad book.  You definitely get a better picture of Tammie Terrell that what is usually said about her.  I enjoyed reading it quite a bit.  There are so many interesting and sad parts in the book that don't have to deal with Tammi's brain tumor.  Ludie also discussed that Marvin came to see Tammi alot while she was sick and would stay the whole day with her.  That's friendship.  Also, she was engaged to a doctor before her death.  He talks about how he was doing his residency at a hospital and Tammi would call him in the middle of the night just to talk to him and he would be so tired, wondering why she wasn't sedated yet.  Pretty good book!
