Hey, this is actually Young Marvin, I had forgotten my password so I'll remember when I get home, anyway, is that album done? I wonder if Hip-O Select has it on its list of releases.

it was me who started this thread.i think if these pics exist, they were scanned from LP, so maybe it exists and somebody has it... but i have never seen it on ebay or anywhere else.

here is some information:

The "Love Man" album on Tamla T8-369M1 (UK number is Motown STML 12126) by Marvin Gaye was scheduled for release in the autumn of 1979.The "Love Man" album by Marvin Gaye consists of eight tracks. Some of them were later remixed, renamed and released on his last Tamla album "In Our Lifetime".

Actually yes. The song was released in September 1979 and charted at #17 R&B following up "A Funky Space Reincarnation" which peaked at #23 R&B. He only charted R&B between 1978 and 1981.
